Introduction to Public Policy (IPP)

Dr. Basavaraju R Shreshta is a seasoned development professional and public policy researcher with a rich and diverse background in Research and Evaluation, Teaching and Capacity Building, Strategic Consultation, Policy Design, and Project Planning & Implementation. His extensive experience spans both grassroots and policy levels, focusing on Governance and Democratisation, Education, Skill Development, Rural Livelihood, Employment of Persons with Disability, Child Protection, Social Business, and Corporate Social Responsibility.

Dr. Ananya Samajdar is Deputy Director for research at GRAAM. She holds a Ph.D. in Political Science from the National University of Singapore. Along with heading the research team, she has handled studies for WHO, NHSRC, Karnataka Evaluation Authority, and UNICEF. In her previous job at TISS, she has worked with MHRD on higher education and academic leadership projects and with Coal India on influencing their CSR activities.

Mr. Bhagavan Bidarakote is a certified Social Impact Assessor and Head of IIKCON at GRAAM, specializing in impact assessment, CSR, and project management. With 15+ years of experience in HR, skill development, and governance, he has worked with corporates, nonprofits, and academia. He holds an MBA in Project Management and Passionate about leveraging technology for development, he focuses on CSR consultations and Development of young people in India and livelihood projects at GRAAM. Previously, he led skill development partnerships at Dr. Reddy’s Foundation. He enjoys engaging with communities, mentoring youth, listening to Carnatic music, and traveling.
